- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Minimum one year experience in the landscape/construction industry
- Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner
- Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools and equipment required to complete various landscape/construction practices
- Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team
- Ability to walk, stand, crouch for long periods of time and carry out strenuous physical tasks
- Preference will be given to candidates with a valid driver’s license and safe driving record
Materials Driver
Materials Handling
- Some college, CEGEP, vocational or technical training
- Heavy Equipment Operator Trade Certification, valid driver’s license [Class A or 1], air brake [Z] endorsement
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience operating heavy equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
- Physically fit with strong stamina
- Basic measurement and calculation skills
- Ability to follow safe working procedures
- Excellent observation skills and a strong attention to detail
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team
- Computer skills an asset
Leading crews day to day
Crew Leader
Able to drive and deliver materials for crews at jobsite, working along to train new crew member, Lead the crews, keep track on material uses, crews attendance and working schedule.
